Yellowstone County, Montana
The Amsden formation is a proven reservoir target in central Montana. Globoil believes that some Amsden fields will make excellent horizontal targets with upwards of 500 BOPD IP expected.
Goshen County, Wyoming
The DJ and Powder River Basins of Wyoming have multiple oil charged bodies of Cretaceous sands distributed amongst the source shale. These sands are stacked and are being exploited with horizontal wells. Commonly, one location will have multiple horizontal wells accessing different productive sands. Globoil has identified three prospects in the Goshen county area for horizontal development and is dedicated to find others in this very prolific area.
. McCone County, Montana
The Mississippian aged Kibbey sands are a prolific producer in a few fields in central Montana. Based on our work, we believe that significant amounts of remaining oil are present in these fields that can be accessed by horizontal wells.
