Located in the Central Montana Platform, Globoil is targeting a now fallow field that has produced millions of barrels of oil. It is Globoil’s belief that substantial additional barrels of oil can be accessed using horizontal technology.

Prospect
Impressive initial production rates of up to 1200 BOPD have been tested with vertical wells in this reservoir. Globoil believes that as yet untapped oil remains due to the discontinuous nature of the reservoir sands, the untested lower sands identified on logs, as well as the known strong water drive in these fields.
Conclusion
Modern horizontal drilling and development technologies, never previously used in these fields, should result in substantial low risk and lower cost production.
