The Director of Melbourne Shipbrokers, Peter Douglas, has extensive industry knowledge and connections at all levels of the industry after a fishing career spanning 35 years in four major fisheries. The Family Fishing Company, Douglas Fishing Company Pty Ltd commenced trading as Melbourne Shipbrokers, Marine Brokers in January 1996.

This busy brokerage has developed over the last 21 years into one of the major commercial marine brokerages in Australia and New Zealand.

The company has enjoyed great industry support and looks forward to many more years involvement with the Commercial Fishing Industry and all other commercial marine businesses.
